After seeing the film “Patience” 3x on the IFFR I got an interest in the soundtrack which gives one a ride into things nearly forgotten or rather dearly remembered. i.e the books by W.G.Sebald. Although much can be explained and said about this kind of music, but more important: it stll is music.

Clint Mansell is always great! Also, Max Richter had “Infra” and Jóhann Jóhannsson released “The Miners’ Hymns”. Also Talbot & Deru’s “Genus” is amazing!

I have his Full Circle album which I really love. It’s a real gem!

Didn’t check out the Remixes album yet.

Anyway, I guess Lineage will not be released on CD, but if it will I think I’ll pick it up.

I have 3 Ghostly International releases in my CD collection – The Sight Below – Glider, Shigeto – Full Circle, and Com Truise – Galactic Melt.

All 3 are wonderful. Hopefully will also add R+B=? to my collection, as soon as it will be out on CD.

I was just browsing the site looking for new music to buy and came upon this mention of the Tekkonkinkreet soundtrack. I loved the movie and have been waiting for ages for the soundtrack to come out, I only ever found those $60 imports, so I just checked out Plaid’s homepage and they said that Bleep.com now has the album for download, so glad to finally get my hands on it. Just thought you’d like to know where you can actually get it. Have a good weekend.

Hey Chris, it’s one of the hardest features to maintain because I have to scout the labels, catalogs,and promos for upcoming releases by hand… it kind of fell off the radar during the busy end of the year special, but I promise that I’ll bring it back! Maybe even today :)

I love the site. One of my favorite features is the occasional-calendar you have at the bottom of the main page, highlighting many of the recent and upcoming “huge” releases in the field. Why isn’t this a permanent feature?
