Founded in 1996 by Olaf Bender (aka Byetone), Carsten Nicolai (Alva Noto, Noto, and Aleph-1) and Frank Bretschneider (A.F. Moebius, Komet), Raster-Noton is one of the boundary pushing labels pioneering many aspects of electronic music when it comes to minimal, rhythmic, and experimental aesthetic. Besides for the amazing packaging of the releases, the Chemnitz (Germany) based label has continued to contribute to the evolution of sound with releases by Robert Lippok, CoH, Kangding Ray, anbb, Mike Vainio, Ryoji Ikeda, and many others. Today we celebrate the catalog with this special label shrine, compiling previous reviews and artist interviews on Headphone Commute. Enjoy!
