Happy Thanksgiving to my US readers and listeners! I especially like the slow sound procession from the right channel to the left, and then slowly receding into the dense atmosphere of the crowd…

This is very nice – also the one you’ve recently recorded during your vacation. I guess you have a top microphone.
gotta love those quads (the main percussion you hear in this piece). that was always a favourite sound when i was in a marching band. i think i would let the quads and their rapid-fire rimshots seep into my brain more than the sound of my own trumpet. as an aside, i lost my shoe one time when starting a marching contest some years ago…boy was that turf ice cold when drenched with a late autumn rain. i finished the march however!
