Track of the Week : Igorrr

Veins

Open up those dusty venetian blinds, we’ve got another crrrazy in the house! Igorrr has been scrrrewing with our brrraincells since the 2008 self-released Moisissure (later picked up by Acroplane). In Headphone Commute’s review I comparrred Gautier Serre’s music to the production by V.SnaresBong-Ra,Enduser, and Doormouse, so the followers of intelligent, and often chaotic breakcorrre, should be proud of this selection! I always thought that Igorrr should release his next album on Ad Noiseam, and it seems that Nicolas Chevreux (the founder of the label) has rrread my mind! His latest full length album, Nostril, comes out on the label on November 9th (tomorrrow!). I’m pretty excited about this release, so here’s a teaser trrrack from the album!

This track will also be released as a 12″ vinyl on the Baroquecore EP published by Aentitainment. “His cruel and unusual sound when he mixes hectic beats, latin guitar, breakcore brutality, synthesizers, opera, screams and classical piano / harpsichord with remarkable ease took him all through and out of France.”
