It’s a beautiful morning. So I went hiking… It’s May 1st, but the last year’s foliage still covers the ground. In the background the sound of the creek slowly fades away, as I climb up the hill, crunching branches and leaves… Far away is a deep rumbling of an airplane…

Delightful sounds. It reminds me, I should get out hiking again as well. I remember hiking on a trail a few years ago and found a small waterfall. I made a brief phone call to my future wife, who was still living in her home country, Trinidad, and shared the sounds of the flowing, falling waters with her. I think it was then, at that moment (according to her) she knew I was the guy for her.
