Three years of music… No… I’m not about to try and summarize all of the amazing albums that have made it to my rotations list – that is nearly impossible. Instead, I want to point my time machine to this exact month of April, over a period of one, two, and then three years, to see what I have been enjoying back then. Thanks to my membership of last.fm, I was able to gather these statistics and tabulate the top played albums going back three years. Many of you already know that I don’t believe in ‘dating’ music – a great album is a great album, regardless of when it was released. So here’s a very short flashback to the music of my past, that will no doubt be played again today in my rotations…

This quick revisit maybe me already dust off Xela‘s For Frosty Mornings And Summer Nights, as well as three albums by Marsen Jules: Herbstlaub, Yara, and Lazy Sunday Funerals. I’ll be definitely queuing up some Pole, Dictaphone, Murcof, and Julien Neto soon enough! Here’s to more wonderful times, with good old friends!!!
